In 2001, Mr. Jason Flassing began his career in mental health working at The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health. While working there, he completed pre-med classes at USC Upstate followed by a Masters Degree in Medical Sciences from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Flassing served as President of his class also earning the Emory University School of Medicine Humanitarian Scholarship for his accomplishments. He became a licensed PA-C in 2009. After working in primary care for five years, Mr. Flassing returned to work at the Carolina Center treating hospitalized psychiatric patients.
 
In 2015, he began his work in outpatient psychiatry treating patients in the Greenville and Anderson Area. In 2019, he earned his Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Psychiatry from the National Committee on Certification of PA's. He offers both in person and telepsychiatry services to patients throughout South Carolina.

Mr. Flassing identifies as a follower of Christ but is happy to work with all patients from atheists to those on any spiritual path. Being an integrative medical provider, he embraces the importance of the healing of mind, body and spirit. He is happy to meet you wherever you might be on your journey. When not practicing medicine, he can often be found coaching on the soccer field and spending time with his wife and four kids.
