In 2018, Dr. Mandy Yancey experienced a major medical scare that fundamentally changed her understanding of the interplay between mental health, physical activity, and food in total wellbeing. Dr. Mandy is now a holistic Health Coach, offering coaching services nationwide as The Vetted Health Coach. She focuses on Whole Food Plant Based nutrition for health benefits (*vegan/vegetarian not required) and herb/supplement support.
In addition to her Health Coaching certification and medical degree (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine), Dr. Mandy has completed two extensive courses in Herbal Medicine and supplements, as well as a certificate in Nutritional Psychiatry. She enjoys teaching practical and sustainable skills in daily living (eating healthy on a budget, recipe modifications, incorporating herbs/supplements, etc) so that individuals can live their best lives.
Outside of work, she loves planning her next hiking trip with her husband, as well as gardening, cooking, and spending time with her pets. As a person of faith, she aims to honor God by living a life of integrity and expressing her faith through love toward all people, in all walks of life.
