Jessica Owens began her career in the Human Services field in 2004 after completing her B.A. in Psychology from Clemson University. In 2008, she began working at a local alcohol and drug commission as a counselor. While working there, she returned to Liberty University where she completed a M.A. in Human Services with a focus in Marriage and Family Counseling. She has been a Certified Addictions Counselor since 2009 and a Licensed Addictions Counselor since 2018. Throughout her career she has worked in the entire service continuum to include prevention, outpatient (adult and adolescent), medication assisted treatment, withdrawal management, and residential services. Initial counseling services are facilitated in person; follow up sessions may take place in person or via telehealth.
